Sometimes, an athlete needs an ice pack after a workout. While a bag of frozen peas or corn will do in a pinch, this ‘recipe’ found by Heidi Eikenhorst, a type 3 extraordinaire, is a great, reusable, and easy-to-make option.
1 part rubbing alcohol
3 parts water
Seal in a zip-top freezer bag. The pack will get really cold, but remain malleable. Keep in freezer for sore joints and muscles.
