This Sunday, September 9th, TeamWILD original member and staff, Karen Lipinsky will race at Ironman Wisconsin in Madison. Last year, she also raced and at mile 102 or so, she crashed on her bike and was taken to the hospital for a concussion and broken ribs and so forth. The 11 women on the 2011 WILDIron Team and the over 90 fans in attendance were heartbroken about the crash.

Karen is a go-getter and she right away signed up to do the race in 2012. She trained, both physically and mentally to get herself ready to take on the challenge again.
A bunch of us are going to watch her race this weekend. Give Karen a big WOOSH and a heartfelt GO WILD!! We will provide updates through out the day on the TeamWILD Facebook page and using the @teamwild handle on Twitter!
